Pastel Portrait....



I finally got as far as I can go with this....I did try to add more on the face but the tooth of the paper is full so any more just falls off.....another learning curve..

I also tamed down the wild colours a touch as I got to know how they would look on the paper, although i'm not sorry I did this initially as I probably wouldn't have been so adventurous as to put the colours in the hair that I did. It also helps to see how this can not only work in pastel but in other mediums as well.

This was really enjoyable and i'll definitely be trying another one.
