Sloppy Chops...

It's the only title I can think of at the moment, but I will think on a better one....

This was done as a very impromptu sketch one evening. The photo was sitting on my board and I had picked up the brush lying on my table, to put it away when I thought ....I'll just paint a little......  No pre drawing on this one, and I do realise I am a little out on proportion, although not enough to worry about I don't think.

I went onto paint another version on this "Yes My Lord" with two dogs, as in the original photo, which I give thanks to Canis Lupess of Wetcanvas for the use of her photo. The later one was originally shown at my solo exhibition, and is now with the Mayor of Redbridge for an upcoming charity auction. I'll update with further details later on that.

If you are interested in purchasing any of my work, please email me for further details.

He looks very good to me , i don't see him (?) being out of proportions. Painting without predesign is so much more spontaneous, you did a beautiful work.

Sloppy Chops looks perfect to me, Stephie. This is wonderful, especially for an impromptu sketch. Very impressive. Nice and loose and juicy.

Many thanks Jane...I do prefer not to draw wherever possible, stops me fiddling with detail too much...
